Software Engineering Technical Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Create high-quality Go and eBPF code for the Tetragon initiative

• Engage with the Tetragon, Cilium, and eBPF open-source software communities

• Design and implement sophisticated eBPF-based security mechanisms for embedded systems, Kubernetes, and VM environments

• Improve and enhance Tetragon's network parsing capabilities

• Address complex technical challenges

• Take part in code reviews and architectural discussions

• Contribute to the development of technical documentation

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in systems programming with C, Go, or similar languages

• Proficiency in Linux systems programming, Linux kernel-level development, or eBPF development for observability or security purposes

• Previous experience in security hardening and defensive strategies

• Experience in integrating or developing security frameworks for infrastructure-level solutions

• Background in building control planes for security or related applications

• Knowledge of CVE workflows, vulnerability data pipelines, or security event modeling

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud-native environments

• Contributions to open-source security or networking projects, such as Tetragon, Cilium, or the Linux networking stack

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
