Software Engineering Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design, development, and upkeep of cloud integration functionalities, including queue splitting and database branching.

• Remain actively engaged and contribute to the codebase.

• Collaborate with Kubernetes, cloud services, database systems, message brokers, and various other tools and platforms.

• Establish the technical vision for the team while upholding high engineering standards.

• Promote the effective utilization of AI within the team.

• Assist in prioritizing tasks, removing obstacles for engineers, and ensuring roadmap execution.

• Recruit and mentor engineers as the team expands.

• Collaborate with Product, Solution Engineering, and users to enhance adoption and growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience leading engineering teams.

• At least 4 years of professional experience in writing production-quality code in Rust, C++, or C.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud-native environments.

• Strong systems-level thinking with the capability to debug complex, distributed systems.

• Comfortable working asynchronously in a remote-first startup environment.

• Experience in building developer tools (preferred).

• Familiarity with creating Kubernetes operators or other components that engage with the Kubernetes API (preferred).

• Knowledge of backend infrastructure tools such as data stores, message brokers, and GitOps tools (preferred).
