This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +17 more states.
• Oversee and assist multiple engineering teams, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality and scalable software solutions.
• Convert product and business strategies into well-defined engineering plans, delivery milestones, and technical roadmaps.
• Develop and uphold engineering best practices, standards, and collaborative workflows across teams.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Architecture to design secure and resilient systems that can scale with business needs.
• Mentor and cultivate engineering managers and senior engineers, promoting a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous improvement.
• Assist in hiring, onboarding, and performance development to create strong, well-rounded teams.
• Work with stakeholders in Product, Operations, Client Success, and Growth to align priorities and achieve results.
• Advocate for agile delivery, automation, and contemporary tools to enhance quality, speed, and reliability.
• Ensure platforms meet performance, security, compliance, and operational excellence standards.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 10 years of software engineering experience, including leadership roles for managers and senior engineers.
• Proven experience leading teams throughout the complete software lifecycle in complex, cross-functional settings.
• Profound understanding of modern application development, cloud platforms, and DevOps methodologies.
• Capacity to balance strategic thinking with practical problem-solving skills.
• Effective and confident communicator, able to engage successfully with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or other regulated sectors (preferred).
• Familiarity with technology stacks such as Go, React, React Native, .NET, and integrated platforms (preferred).
