Engineering Manager, FDE Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saudi Arabia.

📋 Description

• Lead and guide a team of Forward Deployed Engineers.

• Oversee the complete deployment of North in private cloud and on-premises settings.

• Assume responsibility for customer success from the technical implementation phase to delivery.

• Work collaboratively with Product, Engineering, and Sales teams to enhance how we provide AI solutions to enterprises.

• Provide mentorship to your team on cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and enterprise-level deployments.

• Enhance performance for OpenSearch, databases, and various K8s services.

• Establish scaling guidelines for GPU and CPU compute resources.

• Develop processes and technologies that can scale effectively — we are experiencing rapid growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering with proven leadership capabilities.

• Practical experience in deploying enterprise software at scale.

• In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP).

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Helm, and CI/CD pipelines.

• High level of initiative — you proactively address challenges without waiting for permission.

• A results-oriented mindset — you take action and accomplish tasks.

• Experience in managing engineers within a dynamic, high-growth setting.

• Exceptional communication skills in English.

• Proficiency in additional European languages (Preferred).

• Background in AI/ML infrastructure (Preferred).

• Experience with enterprise security and compliance (Preferred).
