• Identify potential risks, suggest trade-offs, and assist in balancing speed, scope, and quality.
• Maintain clear, proactive communication regarding progress, challenges, and results.
• Influence technical and product direction in collaboration with senior stakeholders and leadership.

• Lead technical evaluations and make decisions on build-vs-buy and significant technology adoption.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• 4+ years in a technical leadership or engineering management position, including oversight of senior engineers.
• Profound hands-on expertise in various modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, JavaScript/React, Python).
• Proven experience in designing and delivering large-scale, distributed, or high-availability systems.
• Strong understanding of system architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Established record of leading Agile teams in delivering complex software systems.
• Track record of setting technical direction and promoting engineering standards across teams.
• Ability to guide teams through uncertainty in fast-paced, evolving environments.
• Excellent communication abilities, with the capacity to clearly convey complex technical concepts.
• Comprehensive understanding of software development life cycles.
• Competence in managing conflicts and aiding in resolution processes.
