Software Engineer, Swarm Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance the ASR C++ codebase for ground station and drone operations.

• Create innovative swarming algorithms.

• Adjust and expand our swarm communications protocol.

• Work in collaboration with senior engineers to ensure software architecture aligns with engineering process standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven development experience with C++.

• Front-end web development skills using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Backend web development experience utilizing Python.

• Android development proficiency in Java or Kotlin.

• Strong understanding and preference for object-oriented development practices.

• Background in mathematics and/or physics, including knowledge of vector operations.

• Skilled in C and C++ programming, including the standard template library.

• Foundational knowledge of low-level concepts such as compiler operations and memory management.

• Experience in a Linux development environment, including the use of POSIX and similar libraries.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile.

• Experience with aerospace software development procedures.
