Software Engineer, Rust

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and develop robust Rust services and libraries that drive trading, payments, and cryptocurrency experiences, prioritizing reliability, performance, and user impact.

• Create reusable, testable, and highly efficient code that scales across teams and supports mission-critical systems while ensuring safety and security.

• Collaborate on the architecture of large-scale distributed systems, converting evolving product requirements into resilient, low-latency solutions.

• Partner with hundreds of seasoned Rust engineers, contributing to a high-performance, product-focused engineering culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in software engineering.

• Skilled in writing network services or asynchronous code in Rust.

• Possess a security-first mindset during system design to guarantee robustness.

• Exhibit the capability to debug issues independently across the entire stack (OS, network, application).

• Utilize a solid understanding of distributed systems and technologies, including RPC protocols, Kafka, and Event-Driven Systems, to create scalable solutions.

• Work collaboratively with product teams to gather requirements and constraints for designing suitable systems.

• Assume complete end-to-end ownership of systems and libraries.

• Experience in developing B2B products, preferably within the fintech or cryptocurrency sectors.
