Software Engineer, Regulatory Products

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +15 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and enhance data pipelines and workflows to process, cleanse, and transform data using Java.

• Collaborate with SQL, NoSQL, and cloud-based data storage solutions.

• Develop integrations to consolidate data for reporting and analytics.

• Work closely with the tech lead and product management to identify data requirements.

• Create dashboards and establish automated reporting solutions.

• Architect and optimize storage solutions for both structured and unstructured data.

• Improve data retrieval and performance for business intelligence objectives.

• Maintain thorough documentation of processes, code, and data flows.

• Adhere to best practices in code design and deployment in production environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in Java, particularly with data-related frameworks and libraries.

• Java 8 or higher is preferred.

• Experience managing large datasets, including data cleansing, transformation, and aggregation methods.

• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL database management.

• Understanding of database design principles.

• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for report and visualization management.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience with cloud platforms for data storage and processing is advantageous.

• Knowledge of Python or Java for data processing tasks.

• Understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.

• Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.

• Ability to work in the United States, with MEMX presence in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Utah; candidates outside these states may submit their location for consideration.
