Software Engineer, Python, TypeScript

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Lead architectural decisions for EA's AI/agentic stack, focusing on skill patterns, tools, agent loops, evaluations, memory, and observability.

• Identify and tackle the most impactful problems for automation, collaborating closely with department partners and EA colleagues.

• Develop production-quality Python and TypeScript services, internal user interfaces, and integrations across our SaaS ecosystem, which includes Okta, Slack, Salesforce, Workday, NetSuite, Zendesk, Jira, and others.

• Create data models in PostgreSQL that ensure safety in automation, observability, and AI experimentation.

• Engage in code reviews and suggest enhancements to testing, documentation, and runbook methodologies.

• As requested by Greenhouse, make yourself available during designated time slots for production support tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a software engineer in a production environment.

• Proficient in Python and/or TypeScript, with the capability to work seamlessly across the entire tech stack.

• Experience with frontend frameworks (such as React) for developing internal dashboards.

• Proven history of designing and managing SaaS integrations at scale, including aspects such as OAuth, webhooks, rate limits, idempotency, and retries.

• Strong expertise in PostgreSQL and SQL, coupled with a keen sense for data modeling.

• Established testing practices (using tools like pytest, Jest, RSpec, or similar) and a genuine commitment to quality assurance.

• Evidence of mentorship, showcasing the patterns you've created and the engineers you've helped advance.

• Proficient with Git, CI/CD, Terraform, and familiar with at least one production observability stack (e.g., Datadog, Rollbar, or similar).
