Software Engineer, Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the technical design and execution of projects that enhance the @Work platform.

• Establish architectural guidelines and ensure adherence to best practices regarding code quality, performance, and scalability.

• Collaborate with product, design, and operations teams to define and implement @Work product strategy.

• Supervise the optimization of systems for reliability, security, and scalability.

• Take ownership of technical decision-making, striking a balance between swift delivery and sustainable solutions.

• Create intuitive and aesthetically pleasing experiences for everyday interactions involving money, earnings, and pay schedules.

• Work with technologies such as Node, TypeScript, NestJS, microservices, Kubernetes, AWS, React Native, iOS, Android, and web platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in building and scaling distributed systems, high-throughput APIs, or data-intensive services.

• Strong hands-on full-stack engineering capabilities.

• Expertise in backend architecture and contemporary frontend frameworks.

• Experience in designing or working on systems that are reliable, secure, and high-performing.

• Ideally experienced in payments, Earned Wage Access (EWA), or other regulated consumer finance sectors.

• Familiar with modern software engineering methodologies.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to work.

• A proactive attitude and a mindset geared towards growth.

• Authorized to work legally in the United States.

• Must not require OnePay to sponsor an immigration case for employment.
