Software Engineer, PHP/Symfony, Vue 3

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Georgia, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Create new services while providing support for existing ones.

• Develop markup, build widgets, and design user interfaces.

• Ensure coverage of changes through unit and functional testing.

• Design Doctrine entities and enhance MySQL performance.

• Integrate various third-party services.

• Keep technical documentation up to date.

• Deploy applications and resolve production issues as they arise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in developing and maintaining PHP/Symfony applications in a production environment.

• Proficiency in structuring applications into modules with defined responsibilities and dependencies, along with familiarity in Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

• Skilled in building REST APIs and integrating services effectively.

• Experience with Vue 3, covering layout, UI behavior, and API integration.

• Knowledge of MySQL and Doctrine, including entity design, relationship modeling, query execution plan analysis, and optimization of slow queries.

• Regular testing as part of the workflow, with comfort in a codebase that enforces static analysis, architectural guidelines, and coding standards within Continuous Integration (CI).

• A strong habit of documenting your work to facilitate knowledge transfer.

• Competence in reading and writing technical documentation and tickets in English.
