Software Engineer, .NET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance current VB.NET/.NET Framework ERP applications.

• Create new features and modules utilizing C#, .NET, Angular, and SQL Server.

• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and optimize stored procedures, functions, queries, and scripts in SQL Server.

• Assess database performance, refine complex queries, and guarantee efficient data access.

• Create and sustain RESTful APIs and integrations with both internal and external systems.

• Work collaboratively with Product Managers, developers, and QA teams to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

• Diagnose production issues, rectify defects, and enhance application performance.

• Assist in the modernization and migration of legacy functionalities to the SaaS platform.

• Utilize AI coding tools such as OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, or similar for code generation, refactoring, debugging, and testing.

• Offer clear requirements and technical guidance to AI agents, while independently reviewing and validating the generated code.

• Assume responsibility for delivered solutions, ensuring quality, security, performance, and maintainability.

• Engage in code reviews, testing, documentation, and deployment processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of professional software development experience with .NET technologies.

• Strong expertise in C#, VB.NET, Entity Framework, LINQ, and .NET Framework.

• Experience in developing web applications using Angular and TypeScript.

• Comprehensive SQL Server and T-SQL knowledge, including relational database design, stored procedures, complex queries, indexing, and performance optimization.

• Capability to independently write, analyze, debug, and enhance SQL stored procedures and scripts.

• Familiarity with developing and consuming RESTful APIs and managing application integrations.

• Proficiency with Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), and TFS / Azure DevOps or equivalent tools.

• Practical experience with AI coding tools such as OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar.

• Ability to provide clear technical instructions to AI agents and critically assess, debug, and refine AI-generated code.

• Strong grasp of software design principles, debugging, testing, and secure coding practices.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities, with the capacity to work autonomously in a remote team environment.
