This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tunisia.
• Develop and deploy new features.
• Take ownership of features from start to finish: comprehend the issue, design a straightforward solution, implement it (frequently with AI support), test it, and refine based on user feedback.
• Enhance performance, reliability, release quality, and developer ergonomics across our native SDKs and associated services.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across SDKs and customer integrations by utilizing logs, diagnostics, and well-informed hypotheses instead of guesswork.
• Address genuine customer challenges.
• Collaborate with Product and Delivery teams to understand authentic customer use cases and limitations.
• Suggest simple, practical solutions rather than over-engineering.
• Assist in optimizing the integration experience to enable partners to achieve "first story live" swiftly and securely.
• Enhance developer experience.
• Improve documentation, code samples, and integration guides, frequently employing AI for drafting before refining for clarity.
• Detect friction points for integrators and proactively advocate for enhancements.
• Implement small, continuous improvements in developer experience (tooling, scripts, templates) instead of waiting for a major “clean-up project.”
• Pursue engineering excellence.
• Utilize AI tools by default for exploration, scaffolding, and refactoring – and subsequently validate outputs with tests, types, and personal judgment.
• Apply first-principles thinking to navigate complexity: start with the objective and constraints, select the simplest effective solution, and be prepared to discard your own code when a superior approach emerges.
• Engage in thoughtful code reviews: provide clear, constructive, direct feedback and remain open to having your own ideas scrutinized.
• Assist in improving CI pipelines, test suites, and development scripts to ensure the entire team operates more efficiently and safely over time.
• Maintain a strong sense of ownership and follow-through from concept to release: identify blockers early, communicate effectively, and complete what you initiate.
• 2–4 years of practical experience in building production mobile applications or SDKs using Swift for iOS or Kotlin for Android.
• Solid understanding of at least one native mobile platform – either iOS with Swift or Android with Kotlin – along with its contemporary frameworks and build tools.
• Familiarity with APIs/HTTP, mobile application lifecycles, performance metrics, and automated testing.
• A proactive approach – you anticipate challenges, propose solutions, and look ahead rather than waiting for instructions.
• An AI-native working style – you are at ease with adopting new tools early, particularly AI-assisted coding, viewing AI as your primary starting point rather than a fallback.
• Clear reasoning and trade-off analysis – you can articulate why you opted for one method over another in straightforward terms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
• Reliability – you meet commitments, identify blockers early, and take ownership of the quality of your work.
• No prior SDK experience or cross-platform work is necessary, but you should feel comfortable creating libraries and APIs that other developers rely on.
• 33 Days Paid Leave
• Fully remote working from anywhere in Tunisia
