Software Engineer IV

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Conduct in-depth problem-resolution analysis and implement corrections.

• Create new software solutions based on approved design specifications.

• Address system issues as instructed by the manager.

• Oversee projects and guarantee the successful technical execution of business software applications.

• Manage critical projects, customer interactions, or business workflows.

• Develop intricate software applications according to approved designs.

• Generate innovative solutions that enhance business performance and align with corporate objectives.

• Ensure timely project delivery in accordance with specifications.

• Collaborate with teams on various projects.

• Mentor junior developers through code reviews, design assessments, and unit test plan evaluations.

• Act as the primary technical IT contact and provide leadership for technical projects.

• Identify and communicate process and procedure enhancements across departments.

• Utilize advanced analytical tools for forecasting and modeling.

• Suggest design modifications to processes and applications.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

• Generally requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline, along with 8–12 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Extensive knowledge of application programming and design principles.

• Experience working with client/server networks.

• Familiarity with structured application development and change control methodologies.

• Proficient in object-oriented analysis and design.

• Capability to analyze complex issues and devise effective solutions.

• Advanced understanding of the relationship between technology decisions and business requirements.

• In-depth knowledge of business drivers and the ability to convert needs into technical solutions.

• Strong leadership abilities.

• Willingness and capability to work the evening shift (5pm to 2am) as necessary.
