Software Engineer IV

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the Salesforce ecosystem, leading a distributed team of over 10 engineers located in the US and India.

• Establish the technical direction, define engineering standards, and make crucial decisions regarding platform versus off-platform architecture.

• Design and supervise intricate Salesforce integrations with both internal and third-party applications utilizing event-driven, near-real-time patterns.

• Guide the implementation of Salesforce Data 360 for marketing segmentation while enhancing Agentforce and AI-powered data pipelines.

• Create security-first architectural patterns and proactively oversee platform health, security, data residency, and system integrity.

• Act as the final authority on design and code reviews and set global engineering standards.

• Integrate security into the development lifecycle, using Salesforce Health Check and Optimizer to uphold platform integrity.

• Establish and enforce automated linting, testing, and security review gates utilizing tools such as Checkmarx.

• Define frameworks and tools that enhance engineering speed, quality, and compliance.

• Evolve Python-driven CI/CD pipelines and automate feasible SDLC processes to facilitate multiple deployments each day.

• Provide architectural advice and mentorship to over 10 senior and junior engineers.

• Independently design, develop, and deploy complex Salesforce applications and integrations utilizing Apex, LWC, and declarative features.

• Create and maintain back-end services, APIs, and automation workflows using Node.js, Python, Azure, and AWS.

• Build and manage ETL data pipelines on Azure and Salesforce Data 360.

• Establish data contracts and standards for Salesforce enterprise integrations through REST/SOAP APIs and event-driven architectures.

• Expand the capabilities of Agentforce and implement Einstein Copilot, predictive analytics, generative AI, LLMs, and ML initiatives.

• Develop and enhance high-performance front-end applications using React.js/Next.js and web component architecture.

• Engage in Agile roadmap planning, technical direction, and thorough peer code reviews.

• Collaborate with product managers, data science teams, and business partners to outline technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of software engineering experience with a strong and sustained focus on the Salesforce ecosystem.

• Proficient in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Data Cloud/360, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or a comparable marketing automation platform.

• Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce Apex, LWC, Metadata API, and highly customized enterprise instances.

• Extensive professional experience developing off-platform applications in Azure utilizing Node.js or Python.

• Comprehensive SDLC experience, including SF CLI, Git, and management of automated CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong foundational knowledge in relational database design, REST/SOAP web services, and asynchronous messaging patterns.

• Familiarity with Salesforce Data 360 and emerging AI/agentic workflows.

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Experience with advanced declarative Salesforce features, including Flows and Process Builders.

• Proficient in Azure, AWS, ETL, REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven architectures, React.js/Next.js, and web component architecture.
