Software Engineer III, iOS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop native mobile interfaces in collaboration with the creative design and user interface team, adhering to iOS Human Interface Guidelines.

• Evaluate and enhance UI, data storage, and network communications to elevate user experience.

• Proactively create and deliver high-quality features and enhancements.

• Investigate and implement technical solutions that align with business objectives and a growing user base.

• Provide expertise on design, testing, security, and deployment best practices.

• Mentor team members to foster overall team success.

• Work alongside the cross-functional product engineering team to address challenges.

• Transform complex ideas into straightforward, elegant solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of relevant professional experience.

• Proven experience in developing applications using Swift for the iOS platform within an Agile setting.

• Proficiency in writing unit tests and creating testable code.

• Experience in multithreaded programming.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.

• Significant experience using Git in a collaborative team environment.

• Experience with relational databases.

• Prior use of at least one package manager.

• Some exposure to CI/CD practices.

• Experience in a collaborative team setting.

• Strong communication skills.

• Passion for mentoring junior developers.

• A disposition characterized by kindness and empathy.

• Bonus: experience in migrating a large legacy codebase to contemporary standards.

• Bonus: familiarity with functional reactive programming frameworks such as RxSwift or Combine.
