Software Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and launch robust features with a strong emphasis on reliability and performance.

• Take ownership of the delivery of moderately complex tasks independently, from backlog refinement to production deployment.

• Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and compliance with engineering standards.

• Proactively identify and resolve root cause issues to enhance system stability.

• Troubleshoot and address production incidents, ensuring minimal disruption and effective follow-up.

• Keep technical documentation clear and up-to-date.

• Collaborate closely with product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver features that align with business objectives.

• Actively participate in sprint planning, design discussions, and code reviews.

• Contribute to enhancing team velocity and delivery predictability.

• Support the onboarding process and mentor junior engineers through guidance and knowledge sharing.

• Continuously learn and implement new technologies, tools, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering and application development.

• Proven capability to independently deliver features and manage assigned workstreams.

• Experience in cross-functional, Agile teams.

• Demonstrated skill in troubleshooting issues and enhancing system reliability.

• Solid grasp of software design principles, object-oriented programming, and system design fundamentals.

• Experience in API development and microservices-based architectures.

• Understanding of cloud computing (Azure or AWS) and modern application development patterns.

• Knowledge of data security and secure coding practices.

• Familiarity with AI tools and AI-assisted development workflows.

• Basic experience in integrating or working with AI/ML or generative AI capabilities.

• Willingness to embrace emerging areas such as AI agents and automated AI workflows (AutoAI).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.

• Adaptability in fast-paced, iterative environments.

• Commitment to ethical and responsible engineering practices.

• Proficiency in: Backend: C#, .NET, Python; Frontend: React, Redux, Material UI, Bootstrap; Web APIs and microservices architectures; Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., GitHub); Experience with databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB); Strong fundamentals in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) with application development experience; Exposure to AI technologies and tools; Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps); Familiarity with Agile development practices and DevOps principles; Ability to quickly learn new technologies and share knowledge with the team.
