Senior Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize AI-enhanced development methodologies to swiftly prototype, validate, and deliver production-ready solutions.

• Discover opportunities within the organization where software, automation, data, or AI can significantly impact operations, products, or revenue.

• Manage solutions comprehensively—from initial discovery and scoping through to architecture, implementation, deployment, measurement, and continuous improvement.

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to grasp challenges, formulate solutions, convey trade-offs, and assess outcomes.

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications, backend services, automated processes, and internal tools that contribute to business success.

• Participate in architectural decisions, technical strategies, and the long-term evolution of the platform.

• Engage directly with cloud infrastructure and edge platforms, such as AWS and Cloudflare.

• Oversee, troubleshoot, and enhance system reliability, observability, performance, and operational excellence.

• Conduct thorough code reviews, uphold high engineering standards, and mentor fellow engineers.

• Regularly assess new technologies, AI capabilities, and development practices to enhance team productivity and engineering effectiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven ability to transition from vague business challenges to implemented solutions, collaborating with stakeholders throughout the discovery, delivery, and assessment phases.

• Established history of independently executing complex software systems and achieving business results with minimal supervision.

• Strong judgment in making build-versus-buy decisions and recognizing opportunities to utilize existing platforms, automation, and AI prior to developing custom solutions.

• Demonstrated capability to effectively employ AI-assisted development tools in production settings while upholding high standards for quality, security, performance, and maintainability.

• Strong systems thinking and architectural insight to validate, refine, and expand AI-generated solutions.

• Experience in building and maintaining production web applications.

• Comfortable working within contemporary application frameworks (e.g., Laravel or similar).

• Experience in designing and implementing experimentation and A/B testing frameworks (e.g., PostHog or similar tools).

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Cloudflare, or similar platforms).

• Solid experience with relational databases, including writing and optimizing queries both within and outside of ORMs.

• Proficient with Git-based development workflows, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment practices.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a globally distributed organization.

• Self-motivated, highly autonomous, and comfortable working in a remote-first environment while prioritizing tasks and consistently delivering results.
