This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications utilizing Java, Java EE, Java 17, Spring Boot, Node.js/TypeScript, and React or Angular.
• Architect and implement secure, cloud-native, event-driven microservices and RESTful APIs using AWS services such as Aurora PostgreSQL, ECS, SQS, and S3.
• Create AI-enabled solutions by incorporating Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI APIs into enterprise healthcare applications while assessing emerging AI technologies and best practices.
• Construct reliable backend services, enhance database performance, and guarantee application scalability, security, and maintainability through solid engineering principles.
• Execute automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and DevOps best practices to deliver high-quality software within a regulated environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert business requirements into technical solutions while supporting Agile development processes and preserving technical documentation.
• Assume additional tasks and responsibilities as necessary to support team goals and ensure project success.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline.
• A minimum of six (6) years of professional software engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer with technical leadership roles.
• Proficient in designing and developing distributed, cloud-native applications based on modern software architecture principles.
• Experience integrating AI or Large Language Model (LLM) functionalities into enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Strong expertise in Java, Java EE, Java 17, and the Spring Framework.
• Experience in developing applications with Node.js, TypeScript, React, or Angular.
• Proficient in building RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Practical experience with AWS cloud services, including Aurora PostgreSQL, ECS, SQS, and S3.
• Familiarity with SQL, PostgreSQL, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of secure software development practices and contemporary DevOps methodologies.
• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Capacity to mentor software engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.
