Software Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, create, test, and support scalable web applications utilizing Node.js, React, MongoDB, and API integrations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet customer and business needs.

• Write maintainable, testable, and scalable code adhering to engineering best practices.

• Engage in code reviews and contribute to the establishment of software quality standards.

• Diagnose production issues, determine root causes, and apply effective solutions.

• Lead implementation efforts for initiatives of medium complexity and manage sprint-level projects.

• Create technical design documentation and participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making.

• Monitor live environments and proactively work to reduce technical debt.

• Collaborate with QA and Support teams to address customer-impacting issues.

• Mentor Software Engineer I and II team members.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in software engineering.

• Participate in an on-call rotation to support product rollouts and maintain production environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering.

• Strong expertise in Node.js, React, MongoDB, and API communication.

• Familiarity with SQL Server, MongoDB, and cloud hosting platforms like AWS, Render, or similar technologies.

• Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.

• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.

• Proficiency with Git, Jira, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and contemporary development workflows.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Capacity to work independently as well as effectively within a team setting.

• Experience in mentoring and developing junior engineers.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).

• Experience with cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks (preferred).

• Knowledge of Entity Framework Core (preferred).

• Experience monitoring applications with tools like CloudWatch, Cloudflare, Pingdom, or similar platforms (preferred).
