Software Engineer III, Android

📋 Description

• Collaborate with creative design and user interface teams to develop native mobile interfaces in accordance with iOS Human Interface Guidelines.

• Enhance user experience by evaluating and refining UI, data storage, and network communications.

• Take initiative in building and delivering high-quality features and enhancements independently.

• Conduct research and implement technical solutions that align with business objectives and accommodate a growing user base.

• Provide strategic insights on design, testing, security, and deployment best practices.

• Mentor team members to foster overall team success.

• Work alongside cross-functional product engineering teams to address challenges.

• Simplify complex concepts into elegant, straightforward solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.

• Proven experience in developing applications in Swift for the iOS platform within an Agile framework.

• Proficient in writing unit tests and creating testable code.

• Familiarity with multithreaded programming.

• Comfortable working with RESTful APIs.

• Significant experience using Git in a collaborative environment.

• Experience with relational databases.

• Prior use of at least one package manager.

• Some experience with CI/CD processes.

• Experience in a collaborative team setting.

• Strong communication skills.

• Eagerness to mentor junior developers.

• Demonstrated kindness and empathy in professional interactions.

• Bonus: Experience in migrating a large legacy codebase to modern standards.

• Bonus: Familiarity with functional reactive programming frameworks such as RxSwift or Combine.
