Software Engineer II – Fullstack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and sustain customer-oriented dashboard functionalities utilizing React.js, Java Spring Boot, and Python.

• Craft intuitive, responsive, and high-performing user interfaces for search, merchandising, and analytics workflows.

• Develop scalable backend services and REST APIs with Spring Boot.

• Construct and uphold Python services and data pipelines that drive customer insights and dashboard analytics.

• Work in collaboration with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to convert product requirements into superior software.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code.

• Engage in design conversations, code evaluations, and technical planning.

• Oversee production systems, resolve issues, and enhance reliability and performance.

• Boost developer productivity, code quality, and application performance.

• Deliver medium-sized features across both frontend and backend, taking ownership through production deployment.

• Spearhead significant feature or enhancement implementations, ensuring seamless production rollouts.

• Identify enhancements for application performance, developer experience, system reliability, and maintainability.

• Share expertise through code evaluations and technical discussions.

• Develop features that enhance usability, performance, and the overall dashboard experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–6 years of professional experience in software development.

• Proficient programming skills in Java.

• Practical experience in building backend applications using Spring Boot.

• Experience in creating modern web applications with React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Skilled in developing RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.

• Experience in writing Python applications or services for automation, data processing, or backend development.

• Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL.

• Familiarity with AWS or GCP.

• Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and contemporary software development practices.

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.

• Ability to function effectively in a collaborative, agile environment.

• Excellent communication skills and a readiness to learn from colleagues.

• Ownership mentality with the capability to independently drive features to completion.
