Software Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Independently design, create, and implement features and components with minimal daily supervision.

• Engage in coding and testing tasks while actively participating in code and design evaluations.

• Take responsibility for the quality of delivered work, which includes unit and functional testing.

• Innovatively address a variety of challenges by evaluating pertinent factors and selecting appropriate methods.

• Collaborate with UX and product team members to comprehend customer requirements and develop suitable solutions.

• Make informed decisions within the engineer’s domain of responsibility.

• Receive general guidance on new tasks and seek feedback for broader trade-offs.

• Share expertise with colleagues and assist others in becoming acclimated.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development.

• Proven experience in building and deploying features in customer-facing software applications.

• Familiarity with web services, APIs, and contemporary software development methodologies, including testing and code reviews.

• Capability to independently resolve various issues and manage daily responsibilities.

• Experience in consuming or integrating third-party APIs.

• Background in ecommerce or marketplace systems is advantageous.

• Candidates must be authorized for permanent employment in the United States.
