Software Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the entire lifecycle of full-stack features, including technical design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and optimization.

• Develop applications across the front end using Next.js or React with a NestJS GraphQL integration layer, as well as the back end with .NET / C# and NestJS GraphQL.

• Work in close collaboration with product managers, designers, analysts, and fellow engineers to enhance the servicing experience from start to finish.

• Influence decisions regarding architecture, tooling, and best practices within the development team.

• Deploy and manage applications on AWS and Amazon EKS through CI/CD pipelines.

• Leverage AI tools and agentic development workflows to accelerate engineering processes and enhance quality.

• Engage in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote a culture of learning and collaboration.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional full-stack software development experience.

• A demonstrated history of designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications.

• Practical experience with a modern front-end framework such as Next.js or React, along with a NestJS GraphQL integration layer.

• Proficient in back-end development using .NET / C# and NestJS GraphQL.

• Experience in deploying and operating applications on AWS and Amazon EKS / Kubernetes using CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with AI code generation tools like GitHub Copilot, Anthropic Claude Code, Cursor, or similar technologies.
