Software Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with team members and engage in technical discussions while gaining insights from senior developers.

• Partner with engineering and product stakeholders to comprehend the product roadmap and assist in feature development.

• Take part in software development activities, which include implementing, testing, and deploying code under the guidance of senior team members.

• Aid in product refinement sessions to produce high-quality, scalable software that meets customer and business requirements.

• Design maintainable solutions by adhering to sound design practices, engineering standards, and quality objectives.

• Develop, monitor, maintain, test, and deploy software modifications through continuous delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in software development.

• Knowledge of React and/or React Native along with a fundamental understanding of the Node.js ecosystem.

• Practical experience in building mobile applications, ideally for iOS or Android, utilizing the TypeScript/React Native stack.

• Basic understanding of mobile app development from concept to publication.

• Familiarity with Firebase and push notifications.

• Basic knowledge of SQL queries.

• Proficient in using version control systems such as Git and GitHub.

• Foundational knowledge of data structures and software design principles.

• Strong analytical skills and troubleshooting capabilities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship.
