Software Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Conduct analysis, design, and implementation of systems software with high availability.

• Introduce new features to services that emphasize automation, observability, and identity management.

• Provide support throughout the entire product life cycle, from ideation to implementation and operation.

• Enhance software systems related to testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.

• Guide and mentor junior engineers.

• Assess emerging trends and technologies pertinent to network operations and automation.

• Design, develop, and sustain high-reliability distributed systems featuring web and console interfaces.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and fellow developers.

• Ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in programming using Python, Go, and/or shell scripting.

• At least 4 years of development experience on Linux/Unix platforms.

• Familiarity with common internet protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, and/or TLS/SSL.

• Proficient in using git/Stash and Perforce version control systems.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills along with strong interpersonal abilities.

• Excellent team collaboration skills.
