• Experience with Go is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Postgres, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
• Extensive experience in building distributed systems, including concurrency and event-driven architectures.
• A solid grasp of system resilience, observability, uptime, SLAs, and progressive degradation.
• Capability to deliver comprehensive solutions, from design through development, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Terraform, and contemporary cloud workflows.
• Knowledge of Kafka and database migrations (e.g., CockroachDB to RDS) is a bonus.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to excel in an agile, iterative environment while consistently delivering feature improvements.
• Experience mentoring mid-level engineers and exemplifying engineering best practices.
• Comfortable working within autonomous, product-focused teams.
