Staff Backend Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years in software engineering.

• Demonstrated hustle and determination - skilled in your field and relentless in your pursuit of excellence.

• Full accountability for your projects, driving them to completion with minimal supervision.

• Proactive in communication - identifying blockers, asking pertinent questions, and keeping stakeholders informed.

• Comfortable with experimentation - testing concepts, measuring outcomes, and rapidly iterating on unresolved issues.

• Strong foundational skills in system design, debugging, and problem-solving.

• Proficient in Python (our primary technology stack), although we welcome strong candidates from other object-oriented programming backgrounds.

• Familiarity with serverless technologies (such as Lambda and EC2), asynchronous workflows, and cloud environments.

• Proficient with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.

• Bonus: experience with LLMs/generative AI and distributed systems.
