Software Engineer, Golang – Kubernetes

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design and develop AI inference and model training cloud products that are optimized for Kubernetes.

• Create autoscaling inference servers and manage distributed training tasks across GPU fleets.

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Go code for Kubernetes controllers, operators, and custom resources that support AI workloads.

• Develop APIs, CLIs, and developer tools for the deployment, lifecycle management, and monitoring of AI applications.

• Enhance features that optimize serverless container workflows for AI, focusing on fast cold starts, resource-efficient scaling, and workload isolation.

• Contribute to improvements in system performance, reliability, and security, with a focus on GPU scheduling, job orchestration, and data throughput.

• Monitor advancements in the Kubernetes ecosystem and help shape the product roadmap.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in Go programming, along with experience in Kubernetes development, particularly with controllers and operators.

• Profound understanding of Kubernetes architecture, resource management, and container orchestration.

• Experience working with Kubernetes APIs and custom resources (CRDs).

• Solid background in cloud-native technologies and frameworks, including Docker and Helm.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Strong communication skills and the capacity to excel in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

• Familiarity with Python programming language (preferred).

• Experience in developing AI/ML pipelines or integrating AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch into Kubernetes (preferred).

• Understanding of GPU scheduling and optimization in Kubernetes environments (preferred).

• Knowledge of Kubernetes security best practices, including RBAC and container security (preferred).

• Contributions to open-source Kubernetes projects or cloud-native communities (preferred).
