Software Engineer – Fullstack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Engage in the complete development lifecycle, from initial definition to ongoing maintenance.

• Enhance the API and improve the frontend across the entire technology stack.

• Collaborate with UX, Product, and Data Science teams.

• Participate in team planning sessions, demonstrations, and retrospectives.

• Contribute to knowledge sharing and act as a mentor.

• Deliver high-quality code iteratively, incorporating tests and documentation.

• Tackle complex problems and develop solutions through collaborative approaches.

⛳️ Requirements

• Required strong bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish for written, virtual, and in-person communications.

• Over 4 years of practical software development experience.

• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as TypeScript, React, or similar frameworks.

• Knowledge of Kotlin and Spring Boot.

• Understanding of API design principles.

• Comfortable working with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

• Experience with databases like PostgreSQL or MongoDB and data modeling.

• Familiarity with software testing principles.

• Experience collaborating with remote teams.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity and networking is a plus but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus but not mandatory.

• Must have authorization to work in Costa Rica.
