Software Engineer – Full Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Design, test, and deploy high-quality software for both frontend and backend systems.

• Create responsive, accessible, and maintainable user interfaces utilizing modern frontend frameworks.

• Develop dependable backend services and APIs.

• Convert business and UX requirements into scalable solutions, encompassing everything from the database to the user interface.

• Architect and implement reusable components, software designs, and design patterns.

• Connect frontend applications with backend services.

• Enhance performance, responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and overall system reliability.

• Analyze requirements, deliver engineering estimates, troubleshoot software defects, and implement effective solutions.

• Conduct code reviews and produce thorough automated tests.

• Ensure compliance with software engineering standards and best practices.

• Collaborate effectively with designers, product managers, QA, and fellow engineers.

• Utilize prompt engineering and context management techniques.

• Engage in evaluation cycles for AI output quality.

• Develop AI-assisted engineering workflows, which include automated code reviews, documentation creation, and development automation.

• Assess cost, latency, and reliability trade-offs for AI-enhanced solutions.

• Take ownership of feature quality end-to-end through automated testing and tools built by Quality Engineering before merging.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with TypeScript and React, including hooks, Context API, and component composition.

• Strong experience with Java/Spring backend frameworks.

• Proficiency with relational databases, especially MySQL.

• Experience in designing REST APIs.

• Dedication to automated testing and capability to write unit and integration tests.

• Familiarity with GraphQL and Apollo Client.

• Understanding of Spring Security.

• Knowledge of OAuth2/OIDC protocols.

• Ability to assess design patterns, trade-offs, and architectural frameworks for system reliability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• Typically 3+ years of relevant full-stack software development experience.
