Software Engineer – Frontend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Participate in dynamic agile application development teams by organizing, managing, and executing tasks with minimal oversight.

• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements, design solutions, and align them with the product architecture.

• Develop and sustain a high-performing, quality codebase while taking full accountability from development through to technical QA (unit tests) by utilizing technology and best practices.

• Create essential technical documentation to enhance visibility and maintainability of designs and code.

• Play a crucial role in acquiring knowledge of technology trends, expertise, and best practices to ensure the team’s collective knowledge remains current.

⛳️ Requirements

• Education: Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a recognized university with an outstanding academic record.

• Relevant certifications in technology from esteemed sources are advantageous.

• Work Experience: A minimum of 4 years of relevant industry experience.

• Experience in the Energy, Oil & Gas, or Engineering sectors is highly beneficial.

• Familiarity with distributed agile development practices.

• Experience collaborating with international teams is pertinent.

• Technical Skills: Proficient in building web applications using JavaScript, ES6, OOJS with Typescript and Angular.

• Additional hands-on or academic experience with Vue.js/React, 2D and 3D graphic rendering using WebGL, D3.js, and commercial charting libraries like ChartJS is a plus.

• Practical experience in developing responsive, cross-browser web applications using HTML, CSS, and Angular Material.

• Further hands-on or academic experience with SVG and image processing is beneficial.

• Solid understanding of the principles and application of unit tests in development.

• Additional hands-on or academic experience using Jasmine and Karma with Angular is a plus.

• Experience with Cloud (Azure) applications, particularly in the areas of DevOps, CI/CD, and Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is advantageous.

• Knowledge and experience in the energy, oil & gas, or engineering industries would be a valuable asset.
