Software Engineer, Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain workflows that cater to customers and automate processes.

• Take ownership of features from the initial technical design through to launch and subsequent iterations.

• Collaborate with teams in Product, UX, ML, and Sales to ensure requirements are validated and prototyping is done swiftly.

• Engage with clients within the finance sector.

• Create interfaces that connect with financial data sources and various enterprise tools.

• Enhance the capabilities of the agentic platform to meet finance-specific needs.

• Build collaborative workspaces that include access controls and ensure data isolation.

• Make informed technical decisions while balancing speed, quality, and user satisfaction.

• Actively utilize AI while maintaining accountability for the quality and reliability of the outputs.

• Proven experience in full-stack product engineering.

• Successfully built, launched, and managed production software used by a large user base.

• Strong product judgment, meticulous attention to detail, and a profound understanding of user needs.

• Possess a high degree of agency; a quick learner who independently drives change.

• Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving issues across various systems.

• Ability to document and monitor architectural proposals and decisions effectively.

• Enthusiastic about leveraging AI while being accountable for the systems developed.

• Experience in integrating AI agents with structured workflows.
