Software Engineer, Engineering Productivity – Golang

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with fellow engineers to design, construct, scale, and manage systems for Arista’s development teams.

• Utilize industry-standard tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Grafana, Spinnaker, MySQL, ElasticSearch, Google Cloud, and Varnish.

• Automate CI/CD processes, testing, analysis, and visualization efforts.

• Take ownership of projects from initial definition through deployment and customer engagement.

• Provide infrastructure and tool support for Arista’s development team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a BS in Computer Science with 3 years of experience, an MS in Computer Science with 2 years of experience, or a Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Python, Javascript, C++, or Java.

• Familiarity with Linux (or UNIX) operating systems.

• Understanding of operating systems, networking systems, and distributed systems.

• Practical knowledge of software engineering principles.

• Strong skills in problem solving and software troubleshooting.

• Capability to independently design solutions and implement features.

• Willingness to work effectively within small teams.
