Software Engineer – DevOps, Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Implement and oversee security services throughout our infrastructure.

• Install and manage crawler applications internally.

• Engage in DevOps activities, including Kubernetes and AWS operations.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to embed security within the development lifecycle.

• Streamline processes and establish CI/CD solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Python, particularly for web scraping (e.g., requests, BeautifulSoup, Selenium, Scrapy).

• Knowledge of Java and Spring Boot, with the capability to read and write backend service code.

• Familiar with SQL syntax; experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL is advantageous.

• Acquainted with software development principles: version control (Git), REST APIs, and modular code design.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a logical approach.

• Eagerness to learn, communicate effectively, and take responsibility for tasks.

• Personal or academic projects related to web crawling or backend services (GitHub or portfolio links are encouraged).

• Experience with data processing libraries such as pandas, json, and regular expressions.

• Familiarity with Docker, AWS, or cloud-native tools is a significant advantage.
