This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Conduct research, design, and develop Computer Vision and machine learning algorithms utilizing C++ and Python.

• Address 3D vision challenges, encompassing SLAM and Structure from Motion.

• Train, assess, and fine-tune Machine Learning and Deep Learning models, from dataset preparation and experimentation to production deployment.

• Enhance algorithms for precision, performance, and scalability in cloud, on-premise, and edge computing environments.

• Collaborate with development teams and product managers to incorporate Computer Vision and Machine Learning functionalities into customer-facing products.

• Contribute to system architecture, code reviews, automated testing, and the establishment of development standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant higher education, such as a Master's degree or PhD in computer science, Computer Vision, robotics, machine learning, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience with LiDAR, point clouds, photogrammetry, SLAM, Structure from Motion, pose estimation, or 3D reconstruction techniques.

• Strong command of C++ and Python, with a focus on performance optimization, memory management, data structures, and algorithms.

• Familiarity with OpenCV, PCL, CUDA, OpenCL, or OpenMP.

• Proficiency in developing and training Deep Learning models using PyTorch or TensorFlow.

• Capability to optimize Computer Vision or machine learning tasks for GPU and high-performance computing environments.

• Experience with Docker, CI/CD practices, and cloud services like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Ability to manage large datasets and create reliable evaluation methodologies, metrics, and validation workflows.

• Strong software engineering principles, including code reviews, version control, automated testing, debugging, and profiling.

• Proficiency in both Spanish and English.

• Legally authorized to work in Mexico.
