Software Engineer, Code Repository Licensing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Integrate existing Git repositories into the platform.

• Identify repositories for assessment regarding potential licensing.

• Analyze the source code at the repository level and examine the volume of Git history tokens.

• Evaluate the projected licensing value associated with each repository.

• Receive constructive feedback when codebases fail to satisfy licensing standards.

• Enhance repositories based on the provided recommendations and resubmit them for review.

• Choose eligible repositories to be utilized for AI training.

• Receive compensation when your code is utilized under an authorized licensing agreement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Software development firms, IT/product companies, or independent software developers who possess or control the licensing rights to original code repositories and are permitted to license them for AI training.

• Must possess ownership of the repository or have the legal capacity to license its contents.

• The repository should consist of significant original software development work.

• Must have the authority to connect and submit the repository for evaluation.

• Code must be free of third-party materials that cannot be sublicensed.

• Repositories must adhere to the platform's quality and technical specifications prior to licensing.

• Must be capable of verifying repository ownership and pertinent licensing rights upon request.
