Software Engineer – Atlas, Frontend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Develop scalable, high-performance web applications that support real-time trading and financial data.

• Analyze and address intricate engineering challenges across the frontend, APIs, and real-time data streams.

• Participate in technical decision-making and strive to enhance the platform's performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• Work closely with product, design, backend, and other engineering teams to advance Atlas.

• Take full ownership of products from conception through to production monitoring.

• Handle live incidents, document post-mortems, and apply long-term solutions.

• Provide outstanding product experiences and maximize user impact.

• Strong foundational knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of the challenges in creating reliable, high-performance web applications.

• Proficient problem-solving and debugging abilities, with a readiness to explore unfamiliar or complex issues.

• A proactive approach to ownership, eagerness to learn swiftly, and a desire to grow alongside the product and the team.

• An interest in how engineering decisions influence performance, reliability, and user experience.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience in building applications using React, Next.js, Redux, REST, or GraphQL (preferred).

• Familiarity with real-time systems and high-frequency data updates utilizing technologies such as WebSockets or SSE (preferred).

• Understanding of financial systems, trading platforms, or market data (preferred).

• Experience in browser performance profiling and optimization (preferred).

• Up to 5 years of professional experience in software engineering (preferred).
