This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and implement modular, maintainable software solutions that are optimized for performance and scalability.
• Lead discussions on feature and epic design while incorporating feedback from cross-functional teams.
• Make technical decisions that align with business objectives and meet customer needs.
• Analyze and collaborate to identify and resolve technical ambiguities.
• Manage medium- to large-scale projects from conception to delivery with minimal oversight.
• Coordinate technical dependencies between teams.
• Develop and execute project plans that are in line with business goals.
• Ensure quality standards are upheld while meeting project deadlines.
• Advocate for best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and monitoring systems.
• Perform detailed and actionable code reviews.
• Work towards reducing technical debt and refactor legacy code.
• Mentor junior engineers in best practices and contemporary development methods.
• Promote knowledge sharing through code reviews, pair programming, and technical discussions.
• Resolve conflicts independently when feasible and escalate as necessary.
• Shape technical direction through well-reasoned arguments and proven expertise.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering.
• A proven history of leading significant technical initiatives.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to influence colleagues.
• An adaptable approach to changing requirements and priorities.
• Significant proficiency in software development languages and frameworks.
• Demonstrated experience with agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with C#, Java, or a similar modern, object-oriented programming language.
• A deep understanding of system architecture principles.
• Ability to work five days a week during designated work hours.
