Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop product features utilizing LLMs, encompassing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, semantic search, prompt design, structured output, and tool-using agents.

• Engage directly with the mechanics of AI systems: chunking and embedding documents, managing vector stores and retrieval, constructing context, and assessing output quality.

• Create backend services, data pipelines, and product user interfaces that transform these AI capabilities into dependable, production-ready features.

• Convert complex real-world insurance data into reliable, source-cited product functionalities.

• Collaborate with product, sales, and customer success teams to deliver high-impact results.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in software engineering (or equivalent), demonstrating strong foundational knowledge.

• Proficient in Python and/or TypeScript, with a solid understanding of SQL.

• A comprehensive understanding of how contemporary AI systems function: LLMs and prompting, tokens and context windows, embeddings and vector search, RAG, and basic evaluation of model outputs.

• A genuine passion for applied AI and an eagerness to delve deeply into the domain.

• Strong sense of ownership and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
