Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain full-stack applications utilizing Java and Spring.

• Produce code that is clean, maintainable, and easy to test.

• Engage in code reviews and implement provided feedback.

• Assist with application deployment and ongoing maintenance efforts.

• Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry best practices.

• Work collaboratively with product managers, designers, and fellow developers to ensure software solutions align with business needs.

• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to deployment and maintenance.

• Communicate effectively with management, clients, and other teams to ensure software solutions fulfill their requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Capability to work collaboratively in a remote team setting.

• A desire to learn and develop skills under the guidance of senior engineers.

• Familiarity with tools such as Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Experience with one or more cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, along with knowledge of their services and APIs.

• Proficiency in communicating technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proven experience utilizing AI coding assistants in a professional or project environment.

• Ability to craft clear and specific prompts that yield valuable outputs.

• Strong analytical skills to detect subtle bugs, inefficiencies, or security vulnerabilities in generated code.

• Awareness of AI limitations, including hallucinations, outdated patterns, and context window constraints.
