Applications Programmer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development, deployment, maintenance, and customization of Oracle Applications and EDI integrations.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts to comprehend business requirements and devise effective solutions.

• Conduct testing and deployment of the developed solutions.

• Provide support for technical development needs, including reports and forms.

• Analyze project requirements to establish the technical approach and necessary programming.

• Maintain support for the Oracle Applications Production environment (12i).

• Troubleshoot, refactor, and enhance code to align with changing business demands.

• Address business needs regarding system processing and availability.

• Engage in the 24/7 department on-call program.

• Assist with daily issues related to integration touchpoints.

• Develop process flows, high-level functional specifications, and detailed technical design specifications based on business requirements.

• Operate in a professional office environment utilizing standard office equipment.

• Generally, travel is less than 5% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT field.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with Oracle Reports, Forms, Workflow Builder, Discoverer, PL/SQL, Shell Scripts, and XML Publisher for GL/AP/AR/OM/INV/PO.

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator development and administration.

• At least 2 years of experience with E-Commerce gateway/Oracle E-Business Suite (ERP).

• Practical experience with ANSI X12, CSV, XML, and EDIFACT standards related to 850/855/810/856.

• R12 experience is mandatory.

• Competence in integrating Oracle E-Business Suite with EDI using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator.

• Familiarity with 3PL EDI integration with Oracle, including 850/810/940/945.

• Moderate to advanced proficiency in PL/SQL programming.

• Technical expertise in RICE components in EBS O2C and P2P cycles.

• Extensive knowledge in Sterling B2B Integrator Business Process Development (BPML), Map Editor, and Transformation Extender.

• Understanding of EDI delivery mechanisms such as AS2, VAN, SFTP, and HTTPS.

• Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.

• Practical experience with Oracle EBS finance and supply chain modules is preferred.

• Strong customer service, verbal and written communication, analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
