This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and sustain the cloud platform that drives Hermes Cloud and its managed AI services.
• Take full ownership of the software development process, covering backend services, platform infrastructure, deployment systems, and user-facing applications.
• Create scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure that supports inference, agent execution, and enterprise deployments.
• Construct and enhance CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Execute observability, monitoring, alerting, incident response, and enhancements in production reliability.
• Improve infrastructure performance, scalability, and manage cloud costs as product usage expands.
• Deliver full-stack product features for both Hermes Agent and Nous Portal.
• Assess and integrate third-party infrastructure and managed services.
• Work collaboratively with Research, Product, and Engineering teams on AI capabilities and production launches.
• A minimum of 3 years of full-stack software engineering experience, with substantial ownership of cloud infrastructure or platform systems.
• Proficient programming skills in one or more languages such as TypeScript/Node.js, Python, Go, or Rust.
• Practical experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems, infrastructure-as-code, observability, monitoring, and production incident response.
• Strong foundational knowledge in software engineering across backend, infrastructure, and frontend systems.
• An interest in AI infrastructure and a passion for building dependable systems that support AI applications.
• Nice-to-have: experience in operating high-throughput, latency-sensitive distributed systems.
• Nice-to-have: knowledge of LLM infrastructure, inference systems, or OpenAI-compatible APIs.
• Nice-to-have: experience with serverless platforms, managed cloud infrastructure, or multi-cloud deployments.
• Nice-to-have: experience in building or operating AI infrastructure, model serving platforms, or agent systems.
• Nice-to-have: contributions to open-source software or the AI ecosystem.
• Nice-to-have: experience in optimizing production systems for reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
