Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient backend code primarily using TypeScript, with occasional use of Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) as necessary.

• Design, implement, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions hosted on AWS.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, offering both technical leadership and support.

• Diagnose and resolve software defects through troubleshooting and debugging.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams that include engineering, firmware, support, and production.

• Advocate for the implementation of a testing trophy across the entire software stack.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive software development experience with TypeScript at an expert level.

• Intermediate knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS utilizing Infrastructure as Code.

• Proficient in using Git for version control and implementing CI/CD pipelines, particularly with CircleCI.

• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Jest and Vitest.

• Understanding of agile development methodologies, including both Kanban and Scrum.

• Basic knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres, DynamoDB, and Redis.

• Strong debugging capabilities, ideally down to the network level using tools like Wireshark.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capability to work effectively as part of a distributed multinational team as well as independently.
