This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Conduct intricate code analysis.
• Assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software products for employees and/or clients.
• Engage in the complete software development life cycle.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues on various projects.
• Create applications and enhance product requirements.
• Partner with team leaders, internal resources, and clients to evaluate technical and operational needs.
• Analyze requirements and support the design and development process based on chosen architectures.
• Design solutions that are reliable, secure, straightforward, efficient, and maintainable.
• Estimate design scope and take part in design review sessions.
• Execute programming tasks to achieve design objectives.
• Carry out unit and system-level tests to verify program functionality.
• Assist in product test planning, documentation, and resolution of issues.
• Conduct code reviews on pull requests from other developers.
• Engage in self-directed projects and research for Team Sprint.
• Maintain professional and technical expertise through workshops, publications, networks, and professional organizations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in computer science or a related scientific or technical field.
• Expertise in object-oriented programming methodologies and languages such as C#, C++, or Java.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft .NET Framework and C# or similar languages like Java or C++.
• Experience with database systems such as SQL and/or ORM tools.
• Proficiency in web programming, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and single-page applications like React or Angular.
• Experience with WPF or other client application development technologies.
• Background in unit testing and/or functional testing for C# and/or React.
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.
• Experience in integrating AI tools into planning, design, implementation, code review, and testing processes.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or similar cloud service providers such as AWS or Google Cloud.
• Experience with containers, container orchestration, or microservices, including Docker or Kubernetes.
• Understanding of design patterns and concepts like MVVM and inversion of control.
• Comprehension of how to utilize LLMs in application features.
• Skills in technical writing and design documentation.
