Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Redesign and modernize legacy systems utilizing Java 17+, Spring Boot microservices, and contemporary React methodologies.

• Create, develop, and launch new end-to-end functionalities for high-throughput, cloud-native applications hosted on AWS.

• Produce clean, maintainable code supported by thorough unit and integration testing using JUnit and Jest.

• Engage in 3-week sprint cycles, pre-sprint refinement discussions, peer code assessments, and technical documentation.

• Investigate emerging tools and architectural trends to enhance system performance, resilience, and maintainability.

• Collaborate in a camera-on remote work setting via Slack.

• Utilize Jira and Confluence for workflow management, progress tracking, and documenting architectural decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in Java 17 and Maven.

• Strong knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot.

• Proficient in React.

• Experience with React Effector, ReactRX, or comparable technologies.

• Familiarity with Material UI or similar frameworks.

• Experience with Jest or a similar testing framework.

• Proficient in AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, ECS, SNS, SQS, CloudWatch (Logs, Metrics, Alarms), API Gateway, and RDS/Aurora.

• Strong SQL proficiency, including Microsoft SQL Server and Postgres.

• Proficient in unit testing with JUnit.

• Strong knowledge of Git.

• Proficient with GitHub and GitHub Actions.

• Preferred: AWS Certified Developer or equivalent certification.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation and Terraform.

• Preferred: Knowledge of NodeJS, AWS Step Functions, automated testing tools such as Playwright, SonarQube, identity management tools like Auth0, Python, and Docker.
