This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the agent team on production workflows by breaking down complex issues, assigning tasks, and integrating the outcomes into delivered software.
• Assess pull requests generated by agents at both volume and depth, pinpointing correctness, security, and accessibility issues that go beyond automated testing.
• Create evaluation suites that set measurable quality benchmarks and confirm accuracy.
• Take responsibility for end-to-end quality, encompassing correctness, performance, security posture, and WCAG accessibility compliance.
• Progress workstreams up the autonomy ladder based on reliability evidence, reverting autonomy when reliability decreases.
• Enhance the AI-native development lifecycle by addressing any degraded patterns, prompts, or pipeline components in collaboration with the lead architect.
• Ensure agent operations remain within security boundaries, including branch-only execution, secured credentials, sandboxed actions, and in-VPC inference.
• Collaborate as a co-author in establishing lifecycle standards.
• Guide engineers as they transition to agent-directed delivery methodologies.
• Safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company's information assets.
• Uphold the privacy of employee and customer data and complete all necessary privacy training.
• Solid engineering principles in data structures, systems design, and testing methodologies.
• Capability to quickly comprehend unfamiliar code and evaluate it accurately.
• Proven history of delivering production software while managing its quality, diagnosis, and remediation processes.
• Practical experience in directing coding agents on production tasks, including an understanding of their failure modes.
• Experience in critically assessing agent-generated code instead of automatically approving it.
• Demonstrated proficiency in code reviews, including spotting defects that automated tests overlook and providing actionable insights.
• High levels of autonomy and a proactive approach to escalating issues.
• Preferred: experience in shipping software within FedRAMP, defense, financial services, healthcare, NIST 800-53, SOC 2, or HIPAA-regulated environments.
• Preferred: experience in evaluation authoring or test-first development within a rigorous engineering culture.
• Preferred: full-stack capabilities sufficient to review both front-end and back-end outputs.
• Preferred: experience in the public sector or GovTech.
• Knowledge of compliance standards such as NIST 800-53 Rev 5, WCAG, SOC 2, and relevant FedRAMP authorizations.
• Ability to function within branch-only execution, human review, secured credentials, sandboxed actions, and in-VPC inference.
• No formal degree requirements for most roles, including this posting’s encouragement to apply even if not all listed skills or experiences are possessed.
