This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deploy production-quality solutions, which include applications powered by large language models (LLMs), machine learning models, and APIs.

• Provide architectural consultation and implement solutions for business-critical projects, encompassing data science and machine learning systems.

• Take ownership of features throughout the entire process, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing production support.

• Create and showcase product architectures while producing high-quality technical code.

• Engage in design and code reviews.

• Demonstrate applications to stakeholders and senior management.

• Utilize the Innovator Method and facilitate design thinking workshops.

• Leverage cloud platforms, databases, data engineering, web technologies, and numerical methods.

• Keep abreast of developments in AI, LLMs, and agentic architectures.

• Collaborate with colleagues and foster cross-functional relationships throughout the organization.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field.

• 0–2 years of professional experience in software engineering, data, or AI; relevant internship and co-op experience is considered.

• Proficient in programming and debugging using Python, C++, Go, or Rust.

• Experience with databases and SQL.

• Practical experience in Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), or Computer Vision.

• Familiarity with developing solutions on a public cloud platform, such as AWS or Azure.

• Strong academic record.

• Experience in designing AI solutions and architecting distributed data systems.

• Knowledge of LLM application technologies and methodologies, including RAG, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, vector databases, embeddings, and LLM evaluation.

• Experience in building and serving REST APIs, such as FastAPI or Flask.

• Understanding of MLOps practices, including experiment tracking, model registries, automated training pipelines, and model monitoring.

• Ability to lead design thinking workshops.

• Previous internship, co-op, or project experience in software, data, or AI; experience at GE Aerospace is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, containers, and agile development practices.

• AWS and/or Azure certification is preferred but not mandatory.
