Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and deliver production-quality solutions, encompassing LLM-powered applications, machine learning models, and APIs.

• Provide architectural consultation and implement business-oriented data science and machine learning systems.

• Take ownership of features from conception and implementation through testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

• Create and showcase product architectures, write technical code, engage in design and code reviews, and demonstrate applications to stakeholders and senior leaders.

• Utilize the Innovator Method and facilitate design thinking workshops to convert customer insights into business-value solutions.

• Leverage cloud platforms, databases, data engineering, web technologies, and numerical methods.

• Keep abreast of developments in AI, LLMs, and agentic architectures.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, share knowledge, and cultivate cross-functional relationships throughout the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field.

• 0–2 years of professional experience in software engineering, data, or AI; internship and co-op experiences are considered.

• Proficient in programming and debugging using Python, C++, Go, or Rust.

• Experience with databases and SQL.

• Practical experience in Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), or Computer Vision.

• Experience in developing solutions on a public cloud platform like AWS or Azure.

• Strong academic performance.

• Experience in designing AI solutions and architecting distributed data systems.

• Familiarity with LLM application technologies and methodologies, including RAG, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, vector databases, embeddings, and LLM evaluation.

• Experience in building and serving REST APIs, such as FastAPI or Flask.

• Familiarity with MLOps practices, including MLflow, model registries, automated training pipelines, and model monitoring.

• Ability to conduct design thinking workshops.

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, containers, and agile development methodologies.

• AWS and/or Azure certification is preferred but not mandatory.
