Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Product team to establish product scope and scale.

• Design system architecture, which includes reengineering legacy applications.

• Develop data structures and design patterns.

• Create and implement scalable APIs and microservices.

• Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code.

• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs.

• Identify bottlenecks and enhance software efficiency.

• Work with the design team to develop microservices.

• Utilize GitHub for version control and collaboration on the codebase.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, such as design documents, user manuals, and API documentation.

• Employ deployment methodologies and CI/CD pipelines to deploy applications across various environments.

• Provide ongoing maintenance and updates for applications.

• Maintain open and frequent communication with the team through in-person interactions or messaging tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification.

• Prior experience in a Technical Lead engineering role.

• Over 6 years of experience in backend technologies and frameworks.

• More than 6 years of experience with Java frameworks, including Struts, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and JavaServer Faces.

• At least 6 years of troubleshooting experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in the DevOps lifecycle, specifically with deployment using Google-native services.

• More than 5 years of experience with database systems and SQL, including relational mapping.

• Familiarity with Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with GitHub.

• Professional working proficiency in English.

• Over 6 years of experience with software quality tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, Fossa, 42Crunch, and Cycode.

• More than 6 years of experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.

• At least 5 years of experience in DevSecOps, including the design of CI/CD pipelines.

• Over 5 years of experience in Test-Driven Development, focusing on code coverage and Katas.

• More than 3 years of experience with infrastructure as code and containers, including Terraform and Docker.

• At least 3 years of experience with public cloud, containerization, and virtualization.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience using web-hosting platforms for cloud deployment.

• Exposure to Google Cloud Platform is essential.
